The granted prayer

Remember this post? Alhamdulillah, Allah has answered my prayer. I'll be 25 next year, and He granted my prayer this year. :')

My parents were planning to bring me here on December three years ago, but the visa was closed by that time. What I learned was, Allah didn't grant my prayer early, one of the reason must be to test my patience and faith. And He knows much better if I were mentally or physically ready to be His guest.

I went to the Holy Land with my parents and my eldest brother, for 10 days, from 16th to 26th December 2013.

First, we went to Medina for three days. For a person who was raised in tropical climate country, I am honestly freezing here. The temperature even reached to 8 degree Celsius! But I love that somehow ^_^

Al - Masjid an - Nabawi (also known as Mosque of the Prophet)

Inside of the mosque. And there are lot of zamzam water barrels, and pardon me the black one is not any kind of model xD

Leaving Medina on 20th December, we headed to Mecca.

Friday night - after my first tawaf. Completed my first Umrah as well after taking the photo.

In front of Jabal Rahmah - where my brother keep trolling me about marriage.
According to history, this hill was the point where Adam and Hawa (Eve) met after they had been banished from the heaven. So it is considered as the landmark of love, marriage and family.

One evening, I was in the mosque waiting for Asar prayer. Suddenly my friend texted me requesting to see photo of Baitullah (Kaaba). [She went to holy land about seven years ago, so she missed the Baitullah so much], and I caught this. Bird eyes view of Baitullah - the pilgrims were preparing for Asar prayer. :)
[View from upstairs of tawaf circle]

All my life when I travelled anywhere, I easily thinking about my homeland, the local food, next task, etc. However, this was the first time ever in my life I didn't feel like coming back, I love being here VERY MUCH.

One of my friend told me, "Go to Baitullah as often as you are able to." I started feel that I have no more heart going to my dream vacation bla bla bla rich country bla bla or glamorous one. If I ever have chance again, Insyaallah I will put the Holy Land as my first choice :)

My 3 out of 5 prayers has been granted.
1. Finished study well.
2. Get a job.
3. Pilgrimage before 25.
4.  (not telling until achieved)
5.  (not telling until achieved)

Random post

Nothing much to talk. Too many things keep inside. Anyway, just random post to ensure my blog wouldn't be dead one.

While 'processing' my bag, bag, bag and bag - I found this. Not to bug talking about my deed, just wanna say I'm happy that Mama is in pink of health today. Alhamdulillah. :) morality: +27 hahahah~

Did you just ask when is my turn?
This is how I actually feel:
Me (as Batman) : I'm gonna rip your throat, JOKER!
Those who asked (as Joker): Why so serious?

So, who said being the last child is fun?

Twenty second.

Alhamdullilah I reached 22 this year. Thank you to all wishes; via messages, via calls, and via facebook. Do you know what is the symptom for birthday wishes?

While that night, I got my 1st birthday present - from beloved gay one. She knows me a lot, she knows what I like, and I really love that blue plushie - looks like onion. But she didn't wish me. HA HA HA. She came to complete her resume for job interview. Maybe I should request MARA to give her more scholarship to study abroad, then I can increase my foreign gift collections. LOL. If only that easy xD

The same day, I'm on my journey to see my newborn nephew - Muhammad Aisy Fayyad bin Mirdza whom was born at 1st November. (01/11/11) Pretty cool date baby, but why didn't you wait the next day so that we can celebrate birthday together every year? :/

The result

Deepavali break gonna end soon. My life is kinda no fun since my nephews are not around. Plus, it was sort of sad thing when my sis' cat, Kara died. I saw how she suffered for a week T_T.

 I really miss Adam's thousand questions daily;
"Kenapa lembu makan rumput? Adam boleh makan rumput tak? Kenapa crocodile makan daging? Dia tak makan nasi ke? Kenapa Cuwawa tak nak ikut Adam balik? Kenapa Cuwawa kena jaga Tok Mama? Kenapa Tok Mama sakit? Cuwawa dah hantar lukisan kat cikgu Cuwawa?? Yang Mommy marah Adam kata nak jahit mulut Adam tu Mommy tipu je kan, Cuwawa?"
P/s: You're smart, boy. C:

While Aiden:
"Cat... cat... meow... meow..." *shakes the cat's cage*. I know you're animal lover, but all cats are afraid of you. Ha3. You're so adorable, curly curly perm baby. :)

P/s: expecting another nephew this year. ;)

Erm, sorry, too many babbling words. This morning, Mama has taken her operation report. Most important thing is, Alhamudillah, the tumor isn't any kind of cancer cell. And forgive my mistake for previous entry on labeling the last photo. I fixed it already. This is the report:

INTERPRETATION
A) Left ovarian mass: Twisted fibroma with minor sex cord elements.
Left fallopian tube : Paratubal cyst. (A few small cysts are also seen)
Uterus and right ovary : Within normal limits. (Cavity is empty)
B) Omentum : No evidence of malignancy (^__^)
C) Appendix : Periappendicitis. (Not in the picture)

*Fibroma is a type of extraordinary fibroid. The large dusky coloured tumor mass measuring 18 x 14 x 13 cm.

Spending 4 days in hospital

It started on previous Saturday, about 6.00 am, I was awaken when Abang Long called, asking me to go back home. Mama was going for operation that morning, she's having fibroid. I was surprised. Just the previous week I met her, she's in pink of health. Some of my family members were having fibroid operation before, and I've known it doesn't threat life so much. On the same day, I was in my scouting programme - JOTA JOTI, and I was going to get my Wood Badge (consider as one of scout rank). However, I chose to see Mama instead of the award. As I reached KL, Ayah called me, telling that the surgeon said the operation was going to be postponed next Wednesday due some extraordinary result they've just found. I was (-___-)" but I proceeded my plan to go back, with Kakak.

Tuesday:
I requested the Student's Affair Dept. to go back - since I'm a non-troublesome student, they approved my leave easily. As I reached home at mid-night with Abang Long, all other brothers and sisters in law have reached. Only Kakak didn't get her early leave.

Wednesday:
Mama was admitted in Hospital Pantai Batu Pahat. 11.00 am - went to Surgery Hall.

We, Mama's children and grandchildren, prayed that everything will going fine.
The operation finished at about 2.00 pm. Thank you Allah.
I'd been accompanying Mama after that, until she discharged for 4 days and 3 nights.
(Adam was just my props, he'd never slept in hospital I bet ha3)

Every single day, the kids came visiting Mama. They'll go back at evening.

Every single night, Ayah's iPad was accompanying me.
I couldn't play internet if my 'walking modem' (Abang Long's iPhone) gone. T_T

I wasn't alone all time. Ayah and Kakak were staying as well.
They = One person one night. Me = a person for all nights.

Saturday: Mama discharged. Alhamdullilah. C:
By the way, would you study anatomy a little bit?

DO NOT SCROLL DOWN IF YOU EASILY FEEL GORY.

Ayah told me before, the doctor said Mama should've known the fibroid existence in her body since I was born. How come she felt that just previous week ago? Only Allah knows.
According to image from the scan, it's only 12 cm, when it came out, could you believe it's only 12 cm? I watched in TV before, these thing could even reached to coconut size, and even bigger!
Plus, the surgeons said her fibroid is quite extraordinary, they're afraid if only it's cancer cell. They send it to KL lab for further research. But we keep praying it wouldn't trouble Mama anymore.

High gratitude to Allah, and thank you everybody whom pray for Mama's health, moral support and visiting her.  :)

Wonderful life circle

About 13 years ago, my weekend activity was staying in front of TV, watching cartoons. I woke up early at 8 (I used to sleep after Subuh prayer), waiting for Mama to return from wet market, and asked what she bought for me. When she arrived home, she usually said;

Mama : Adik, pergi mandi.
I : Nanti la Mama. Tunggu kartun ni habis dulu.
Mama : Kartun tu memang takkan habis kalau awak tunggu...

Eventually, I took bath at 12 noon. After all cartoons finished.

Previous week, I was at Abang Long's house in the morning, and Kak Reeny asked me to take Adam,  my 4-year-old nephew to take bath.

Pic: when Adam was 1 year old.

I : Adam, mandi sekarang.
Adam : Nanti kejap la Cuwawa...
I : Nanti bila lagi Adam?
Adam : Tunggu la Mickey ni habis dulu...
I : Mickey tu memang tak pernah habis kalau Adam tunggu...

After a second I said this to Adam, suddenly I chuckled myself. It's truly same as what Mama used to say to me. Seems that all kids are the same, or it's because of genetic. It's me resembles to Mama or it's Adam who resembles to me? If Adam behaves like that, probably Abang Long was same as me back then. One day, when I have my own children, I wonder if they'd behave like us. But that's not a big matter, each moment in your life is wonderful when you know it's meant to be appreciated.  (another new wisdom word from me ha3)

Kambing betul.

After Asar prayer, Ayah asked me to follow him to Parit Raja, to see the sheep for Fareez Naufal, my cousin's newborn son for his aqiqah tomorrow. We went to abattoir, I could see sheep, cows and goats. I was kinda eccentric and playing around alone and snapping photos. Obviously all the livestock were afraid looking at me.

This was the sheep for Fareez before slaughtering. Pretty brutal sheep.

Cow's pen. Wow. Look at his horns! Can I borrow it for my art piece?

The cows eat pineapple skin! :o

T-rex head. Hahahahah!!! That's the sheep's!

Butcher was chopping the whole sheep's body.

The lungs, heart and liver. I felt like playing it for some organ experiment. Ha3

Just imagine how's the surrounding's odor...
I felt like fainting! And my head was dizzy!

Behind the scene: The butcher talked to Ayah, "Anak Cikgu yang sorang tu pelik betul ya, semua dia amik gambar, sampai ke kandang lembu belakang. Amik kos pertanian ke budak tu?". Ok, ok. I'm weirdo. =.="

Selamat Menyambut Hari Malaysia

Dear all Malaysians, Selamat menyambut Hari Malaysia.

 Behind the scene:
It was on previous 1st Syawal, Ayah was carrying Aiden and asked me to snap their photo. Suddenly Aiden pointed to the sky and said "bird". But in the poster Aiden already looks like Dato' Seri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak saying "1 Malaysia" :)

The story of coriander and celery

I went to Abang Long's house this weekend. On Saturday, my sister in law, Kak Reeny was making soto. She asked me to buy celery. When I was at the grocery store, I see the celery has 2 colours - yellowish and fresh green. So I separated the yellowish one at different partition in the chiller. As I placed the yellow one on the top, I see another type of celery. I was wondering why would they put the same leaf at different place. I ignored it, and purchased what already in my hand.

At home:

Kak Reeny : Wawa!!! Apa awak beli ni! Ini bukan daun sup la!!! Daun ketumbar!!!
I : Eh? Betul la... daun sup kan macam tu.
Kak Reeny : Cuba awak cium ni. Mana sama dengan daun sup. Lawak betul!
I : Err... (agaknya yang sebelah daun kuning aku letak tadi tu daun sup yang betul).

By the chance, Kakak was on the way to Kak Reeny's house. I messaged her to buy the celery. When she arrived:

Kak Reeny : Girl! Ni pun daun ketumbar! Bukannya daun sup!!!
Kakak : Tak sama ke? Kat kedai tadi tengok ada yang satu kat bahagian atas macam dah layu warna kekuningan, Girl amik la yang hijau kat bahagian bawah. Ingatkan daun sup.
I : Kedai mana ko pergi Kak?
Kakak : Pasar Mini ****.
I : Hahahahah~ yang asingkan tu aku la. Tadi aku pun beli kat sana lepas tu salah.

*Kak Reeny went to the refrigerator and take out something*

Kak Reeny : Tengok ni lagi satu daun ketumbar. Abang awak pun hari tu Akak suruh beli daun sup dia beli daun ketumbar. Sama je korang 3 beradik. Ha3. Wawa beli paling banyak! Buat lawak je la korang ni.
I : Haa~ maknanya memang la susah nak bezakan~ ha3
Kakak : Jangan salahkan daun, salahkan genetik.

I guess it was a funny weekend. By the way sharing my experience, I'd like tell you where can you find the difference between coriander and celery (instead of the smell). Watch the root.

This is coriander's root. And I don't have celery's root photo. Ha3
Actually, celery has more hairs at the root.

I followed Kakak to Kajang, and while passing the Sate Kajang Haji Samuri's restaurant, I asked Kakak if rabbit sate was available. I badly wondered how did rabbit's taste was like. She said it's kinda pity to eat something cute. But for me, there is no sorry for food. Ha3. And finally we went there for dinner. I only ordered 2 sticks of rabbit sate.

This is sate rabbit. For me, the taste is same as chicken. But it's sweeter.
And no more! Enough. Cuz I expected more. Ha3

2011 Eid al Fitr

Happy Eid to all Muslims around the world.
As usual, apology from me.

A phrase from holy Al Quran stated:
"Dan hendaklah mereka memaafkan dan melupakan kesalahan orang-orang itu,
tidakkah kamu suka Allah mengampukan dosa kamu?"
(Surah An Nur : Ayat 22)

This year, Kakak bought 2 domestic breed cats.
My, I used to be afraid of cat, but no more!
Yey it's Robin and Terry! C:

Incomplete family.
This year Abang Cik and Abang Long were missing.
But Edy joined us. Welcome bro :)
And why the heck I was holding Robin?
He's our new family ha3.

Eat eat eat till you becoming chubby.
Nay, just sitting outside the house to chat.
1st house we visited: Atok Busu (Mama's aunt)
Her granddaughter also brought her cat to hometown - Persian breed.
Kakak, me and Edy were like kids watching the passive cat. ha3
Went to Ayah's hometown in Muar, Abang Long arrived.
Typical Adam - loves camera a lot.
Typical Aiden - prefers mind his own business.
Visiting secondary mates around Yong Peng. It's been 4 years! :)

Festival fireworks celebration! Bring it on!
Where did we get this prohibited stuff?
It's from Mama's cousin, Dato' A***

It suppose to be 130++ shoot, but according to Ayah's count, it's 102.
Some of 'em came out at the same time.

Last day: Abang Long's family photoshoot. LOL
They didn't make it in morning Eid.
Typical Aiden again - he kept moving like caterpillar.
He once called me "Ayah" started upgrading it to "ami" (mommy).

p/s: credit to Ain, Edy and Kakak for the photos.

We're alike

Again I went back to Puchong purposely to see the kids. Actually I planned to take the chocolates from Kak Reeny, but since Aiden was having high fever whole week, she couldn't start making 'em. So, I'll disturb all of 'em again next weekend ho3. (Photo: Adam has no eye problem, he just trying my glasses and complained it made him dizzy).

After breaking fast, we went to Avenue Puchong (home furnishings showroom).

Curious toddler. Aiden was still active though he's unwell.

It's quite cuddle watching him acting like he's in real bedroom.

I can't stop Adam. He's a good actor in front of the lens.
I wonder what point he's posing like the mummy.

OMG. He's everywhere!

And when it came the turn I asked him to take my photo, this is the result.
I : Kenapa gambar tak nampak?
Adam: Adam rasa nak kencing, tak bole amik gambarlah!
Hahahahahahah!!!!!
Funny excuse, nephew.

Finally. Yes, with him of course.

Lots of  Disney bed and study table sets in Avenue. Absolutely Adam was requesting Mickey's set. If I were 4 years old like him, I'd do the same thing. Because it reminds me back then I was 9 or 10, I saw Mickey designed bed, I asked Ayah to own it, and he refused. Cuz no more space in my bedroom to place it. :)
